Somos Entre Hermanos

We partnered with Entre Hermanos to create a narrative short film that celebrates 35 years of service, resilience, and love within Seattle’s LGBTQIA+ Latine community. Somos Entre Hermanos tells the story of how this organization began, the people who shaped it, and the evolving impact it continues to have today.

Process

Rather than producing a traditional organizational video, we worked with Entre Hermanos to create a story that felt intimate, emotional, and alive. From the beginning, we aligned on a shared goal: to capture the spirit of Entre Hermanos through a documentary-style narrative that would honor both its history and its present-day work.

We spent time with the team to understand the organization’s roots and identify key voices who could bring this journey to life. Through interviews with staff and community members, we heard stories of advocacy, healing, and collective power. We filmed over three days in locations across Seattle, capturing everyday moments of care and joy alongside more structured scenes. Archival materials were also woven throughout to help ground the story and highlight the organization’s legacy of impact.

The result is a piece that feels vibrant, celebratory, and rooted in community.

Somos Entre Hermanos premiered at a community event hosted by the Entre Hermanos, bringing together staff, supporters, and local partners. For Entre Hermanos, the film marked an important moment—offering space to reflect on their history, celebrate their impact, and energize their continued work.

The video now lives as a lasting portrait of the organization’s values and vision. It offers a powerful tool for future outreach, advocacy, and community connection. We’re proud to have helped tell this story, and to support the work Entre Hermanos continues to lead.
